DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "992B", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature, straight line damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, monometallic balance, double roller, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a white gold filled, screw back and bezel open face Wadsworth bar over crown Hamilton Railroad case, with Montgomery Arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial marked Hamilton Railway Special, blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #C30482, c1940
CONDITION: CASE: Not original to the movement; 2 dimples, back, from dent removal; Scratches on outer surface of case; Marks on inside of back from dent removal. DIAL: Left side of dial with minor scratches from bezel, hidden by bezel, one fine hairline at 5:30. HANDS: Good, with a few scratches. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Winding wheels have minor specks of oxidation; Click with surface flaw. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
